《KillingFloor》先在2005年时，只不过是《UT2004》的壹个mod(多媒体平台服务)罢了，但是随著steam(聘请出的BT软件编写者开发)平台的出现，研究小集体藉这机遇将游戏单独模式。《KillingFloor》援助了Steam平台的各种系统，比如成就、团群相互互动 等众项功能，而且发烧友也可以设置游戏中的各种参变量，囊括不容易易度和来侵怪兽的数量 等。
