XChat软件简介
X-chat(主要聊天方式是纯文本方式)（常呼XChat或者xchat）以前原来是为unix(多用户多任务操作系统)-like(喜欢；愿意；想；希望)系统所设计的irc(互联网中继聊天)通信协锭软件。由俄罗斯人Peter ?elezny（Zed）从1998岁设计至今。X-chat(主要聊天方式是纯文本方式)应用GTK+平台设计，此使得他成为迈平台的使用软件，囊括多见的linux(Unix计算机操作系统)、freebsd(一种UNIX架构操作系统)、到windows(微软公司视窗电脑操作系统)与Mac的OSX（在Mac上为另外一个单案，称作X-Chat Aqua）。开发者应用gnu(完全自由的操作系统) gpl(GNU通用公共许可证)授予权利将程序源代码解出，此义称此X-chat(主要聊天方式是纯文本方式)是自由软件的壹员。
