I want to drive 5.6 inch LCD (AT056TN52) from mini2440 (in fact it is  micro2440 plus development board). I tried various settings as suggested by various postings on the internet. But I am not successful. The screen works but lot of lines appears on the screen. Could anybody please help me.

I don't have datasheet for AT056TN52. Would you please upload it to the BBS? In addition, please paste your source code for configuration S3C2440A framebuffer driver here.

I have made use of CONFIG_FB_S3C2410_TFT800480 but changed the parameters.

I think this issue may be cuased by either incorrect voltage supply of LCD on hardware or incorrect LCD parameters settings on software.
It should be a 3.3V voltage supply  for LCD panel and 5V for backlight according to the datasheet?

which development board are you using? micro2440sdk or custom board made by yourself? would you please upload its schematic?

I am using micro2440 SDK.

As for the voltage, the same board works with 800x480 LCD (AT070TN83) which has similar specs.

Moreover, the display works meaning I can see images but lot of noise lines on the left side of the display panel. So I want to get rid of these lines. Looks like I am not setting the correct values. Do you know how are the values calculated for the 7" LCD that comes with SDK? Because mach-mini2440.c uses different values than suggested by the datasheet.

Are there any other changes to be  made other than the .config and mach-mini2440.c files?
